Terms and Conditions – Simply Styled Hair Braiding Services

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of hair braiding services by Simply Styled (“I”/“me”/“my”) to you, the customer (“you”/“your”). By booking or attending an appointment, you agree to these Terms.

 

2. Services Provided

I offer hair braiding services, which may include a variety of styles (box braids, cornrows, twists, etc.), as discussed and agreed before your appointment.

 

3. Products and Materials

3.1. Hair Products (Gels, Edge Control, Mousse, etc.)

 

You are required to bring your own hair care products such as gels, edge control, mousse, and any other styling aids you prefer.

 

I accept no liability for any reaction, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from the use of your supplied products.

 

3.2. Braiding Hair

 

Option 1: I supply the braiding hair. You will pay a separate fee for the hair in addition to the service fee, agreed in advance.

 

Option 2: You supply your own braiding hair. You will only be charged the service fee.

 

The choice between Option 1 and Option 2 must be agreed at the time of booking.

 

4. Booking and Payment

4.1. Payment is made in full on the day of your appointment, before the service begins.

4.2. Prices will be clearly communicated prior to booking and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

 

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

5.1. If you cancel or do not attend your appointment without notice, you will not be charged.

5.2. However, if this happens, you may lose priority for your preferred time slot the next time you book, especially if another customer requests the same time.

 

6. Quality of Service

6.1. I will perform all services with reasonable care and skill, in line with the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (and any subsequent applicable consumer legislation).

6.2. If you have any concerns about your hair style, you must inform me during your appointment so I can attempt to rectify it.

 

7. Liability

7.1. I am not liable for any allergic reactions, scalp irritation, or damage to your hair or scalp caused by your supplied products or materials.

7.2. You are responsible for ensuring your scalp and hair are in a suitable condition for braiding.

 

8. Health and Safety

8.1. Please arrive with clean, detangled hair unless otherwise agreed.

8.2. I reserve the right to refuse service if your hair or scalp is in a condition that would make braiding unsafe or unhygienic.

 

9. Personal Conduct

Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the appointment without refund.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

 

Acknowledgement

By booking and attending your appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
